About Michael Bishop
Michael Bishop currently works as an independent consultant in environmental economics and policy analysis. His expertise is in greenhouse gas permit trading systems and greenhouse gas emissions quantification. He also has experience in promoting renewable energy and energy efficiency technologies. Until 2005, he worked as a senior policy analyst within the federal government developing the domestic emissions trading system for greenhouse gases. He has also gained experience working on international projects with Global Change Strategies International Inc. (Ottawa) and ECOTEC Research & Consulting Ltd. (United Kingdom).
Michael has an M. Sc. in Environmental & Resource Economics (University College London, 1995) and a B. Eng - Mechanical (McGill University, 1991).
Michael also has an emerging design practice, having recently completed studies in Design at Concordia University (2008).
