About Tom Liacas
Tom Liacas has built his career around helping accelerate social movements through communications strategy. An M.A. graduate in Media Studies, he has managed campaigns for Vancouver-based Adbusters Media Foundation, has helped to launch and promote Memefest, an international political communications competition and has spoken on the social applications of graphic design at international conferences and as a University lecturer.
Tom also works with small and medium-sized enterprises and branches of government to market products and initiatives with a social dimension. He currently serves on the Board of Option consommateurs, Quebec's foremost consumer rights organization.
